I make my dolls from qualitly tea-dyed muslin. All the hair, body parts & laces are hand-stitched. The shoes & leg stripes are hand-painted, and they are also sanded on the primitive dolls. I will let you know below each picture if the dolls face is stitched or painted. I weight all the dolls bottoms so they will sit nicely for you. All my dolls have bloomers, she can't go out without those on :o)
Below are some answers you might have about ordering a Raggedy Pants doll, pattern etc.
Question: Will my doll look exactly like the picture when I finish her? Answer:Each crafter has their own unique style. It is very hard to repeat somthing “exactly” like another. But that is what makes the dolls you make special to you and your customers.
Question: What if I don't want my doll so stained or primitive? Or what if I want her MORE primtiive and stained? Answer: I tell you how to tea dye different ways in my TIPS page, included in each pattern
Question:Do you sew the hair all over the dolls head?
Answer: No, most of the time I just sew the hair around the seams..
Question: When should I pay for my order?
Answer: All orders must be paid before I ship it. If you are having trouble paying with paypal, go ahead and make your order, then I can send you a paypal invoice.
Question: What kind of payments do you except? Answer: You can see my payment methods and also where to send payment to, on my "Ordering Info" page to the left of this page.
Question: When will my order be shipped?
Answer: I try very hard to ship your order the business day. However sometimes I am away from my computer and it might take a couple days. I will email you as soon as your order is shipped.
Question: Do you wholesale your finished dolls? Answer: I'm sorry, but I don't wholesale my dolls.
Question: Who pays shipping on the patterns?
Answer: I pay shipping (in the US & Canada) on all the patterns and supplies on my website. .
Question: Do you ship worldwide?
Answer: Yes, I’m always happy to ship international orders. Just add 10% to your total for shipping.
Question: I have emailed you, but you have not emailed me back, how come?
Answer: I answer ALL my emails. If you have emailed me and I’ve not answered, please try again. I may have not received your email. Also, sometimes I seem to have trouble getting through to my AOL customers. But I PROMISE to always answer my emails, so if you don't hear from me, it's because, for some reason I have not recieved your email.
