I remember 10 years ago when I first started sewing, I didn't know a thing about it but I was determined to learn!

My first doll was a gingerbread, and looking back now I must say she was pitiful, but I didn't care I thought she was beautiful! However, let me share my experience with you.
After I had her body sewn, stuffed and put together it was time to sew her dress. I was so excited. I sewed her dress together and put it on her, but something just didn't look right...hmmmm. So I took it off her and started all over. Well after making about 4 dresses I finally figured out what I was doing wrong, I had sewn the skirt to her sleeves instead of the bottom of the bodice!! LOL

I've come along way since then and when I decided to start my pattern line I thought back to that poor little gingerbread girl.So one of the most important things to me when designing my patterns is to make sure my directions are easy to understand, always trying to keep in mind that the customer who is buying this pattern just might be like I was 10 years ago.

So I wrote a "TIPS page and include it in each of my patterns. It has diagrams and instructions that will explain some of the things I have learned and some of the terms that might be a little confusing to the "new sewer". And I am always here if you have any questions or need help in any way!!
